About Me

Hi, I’m Patrick Achola! If you’re looking for leadership coaching, let’s connect!

I’m Patrick Achola, an ICF-certified leadership coach and consultant based in Kenya, working with leaders and organizations locally and globally.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked with founders, senior leaders, boards, and emerging leaders in moments of transition, growth, and pressure, where decisions carry real consequences for people and mission. My work is shaped by lived experience: leading teams, building organizations, and walking alongside leaders carrying sustained responsibility.

I’ve coached leaders across Kenya and Africa, as well as in the United States, Europe (including the UK and Italy), Australia, and parts of Asia, including India and Pakistan. I work through one-on-one coaching, team and group coaching, and board training, with practice informed by ICF standards and ethics.

I serve as teaching faculty with WYSE and as a consultant and coach with Social Movement Coaching (SMC). At the centre of my work is a commitment to clarity, balance, and partnership helping leaders think well, lead sustainably, and not carry responsibility alone.

How I Work

My work is guided by three simple principles.

Clarity

I help create space to slow things down, focus on what truly matters, and make decisions you can stand behind.

Balance

I pay attention to sustainability , supporting leadership that works over time, without exhaustion or isolation.

Partnership

I work alongside leaders as a thinking partner, not someone who fixes, directs, or performs expertise.

“Patrick Achola is a phenomenal coach who helped me discover the grey areas around being a passionate young leader versus being a workaholic driven by “an impostor syndrome”. This overarching conversation spoke to different aspects of my life but most importantly, my social life. I am now conscious of maintaining a healthy work-life balance for maximum impact and success.”

“The past twelve months of coaching have been nothing short of phenomenal. Leadership is rarely a solitary pursuit. The experience of having a guide by your side eliminated the feeling of being alone in the journey. Patrick’s coaching sessions have instilled a newfound sense of confidence in me. Additionally, they have fostered a greater sense of accountability to myself and others.”
